Your contributions to H.E.N.S. will go towards space rental, manicurist salaries, construction supplies, agit-prop activities, sandwiches for our volunteer legal aid team, and a killer line of nail polishes and grooming supplies.
Your gifts will enable us to complete our fundraising target of $15,000 for our $35,000 project.
To make a donation follow this simple two-step process:
Step 1. Email us to tell us the amount of your contribution – this will ensure that your donation is applied to the H.E.N.S. project. Please include both your name and the amount of your contribution in the Email.
Step 2. Click HERE and you will be re-directed to the Groundspring donation site for Moving Theater where you can make your donation.
· $50 Funds a weeks worth of non-toxic eco-friendly nail polish, cuticle-remover, polish-remover and files
·$125 Funds a day’s salary for one manicurist/activist/gallerist.
·$250 Feeds the members of our volunteer legal-aid staff and gallery workers from local delis for the duration of a week.
·$500: Funds catering and entertainment for one of our fundraising events for local community organizations.
·$1000: Funds two manicure tables and associated accessories or one pedicure chair with plumbing and installation.
·$2200: Funds a month of rent for our storefront in downtown Brooklyn.
HENS is a project administered in association with Moving Theater, a nonprofit organization founded in 2003 by artists Brennan Gerard and Ryan Kelly to support discipline-defying, frontier-crossing projects in the performing and visual arts. All contributions made to Moving Theater are tax-deductible to the furthest extent of the law.
